 I've been pondering the name of the new store . . .Under The Chair,and it does have a certain "Je ne sais pas que" that keeps growing on me. The picture and logo my daughter came up with also seems to fit nicely, having that sense of antiquity yet modern elegance, you can almost hearEdith Piaf singing "Hymne À L'Amour". It wasn't until last night, however, that it all made perfect sense. We just unloaded the 2nd truck of furniture and before going home, I looked around the store and took it all in for a long moment and damned if it didn't become crystal clear! |

Well, it looks as if we have to end the "Name the Store" competition. We thank you all for submitting all the wonderful suggestions and we are happy to announce that WE HAVE A WINNER!!! Our daughter MaryKate came up with a logo to match the name we originally thought of and it's just to darned cute not to use. We thinkUnder The Chaircaptures that "Je ne sais pas" feeling of a certain style and grace that really does justice to the beautiful furniture we will be offering at the new store. |

Like any other guy, I've never been one much for shopping, while my better half possesses that "shop till you drop" stamina, which is howAddicTreasurescame to be - but that's a story for another day. When we began, I was the guy in the backroom, taking care of shipping, receiving, moving, storage and the multitude of those unseen chores that makes our store a success. In the evolution of our young business thusfar, a change is occurring that I am happy to see. |
