 I've been pondering the name of the new store . . . Under The Chair, and it does have a certain "Je ne sais pas que" that keeps growing on me.The picture and logo my daughter came up with also seems to fit nicely, having that sense of antiquity yet modern elegance, you can almost hear Edith Piaf singing "Hymne À L'Amour". It wasn't until last night, however, that it all made perfect sense. We just unloaded the 2nd truck of furniture and before going home, I looked around the store and took it all in for a long moment and damned if it didn't become crystal clear! You see, old Backroom Joe just doesn't have the visionary gift that Rosie possesses, and during the initial stages of putting a new project together I tend to be a great big "Block-head" but when she tells me to open my eyes and she says "ta da!" what else can you say but WOW! Last night was one of those WOW nights and when you stop by, I know you will agree. Whether you're looking for a certain piece of furniture to accent a room or looking to carry a theme throughout your home, don't forget to look Under The Chair before you make your choice.
